Rossini - the restaurant of the film! Proprietors: Sabine Nasswetter and Fabrizio Cereghini When we opened our restaurant on the 12th of november at the Türkenstreet - or rather: "the felt Schwabing" - and placed the bright red original lettering from the film "Rossini - oder die mörderische Frage, wer mit wem schlief" over our front door, we were very glad to welcome once again the old regulars of the Romagna Antica back with us. Helmut Dietl, who was in Berlin at that time, was calling us three or four times. Bernd Eichinger was here with us. Patrick Süskind came over on his bike to congratulate us with a bottle of magnificent champagne and was immediately disappeared again by the announcement that Michael Graeter & Co would arrive in the near future. And yet, the Rossini should never be a continuation of Romagna Antica, but rather the continuation of a tradition of old frienships, the protection of these incredible stories of the past, which was the inspiration of one of the most successful german films, a home for us, who have never done anything else than this and of course the continuation of a good restaurant where you can eat, drink, talk, get together, laugh, cry, forget... Culinary we didn`t removed us from the idea of the product- related italian cuisine, without much Chichi, which is still carried out in a very professional way by the same cooks of the time of Romagna Antica. Rather we refined the choose of the products we are cooking with. That`s why we purchase in addition to the pasta of the "Casa del Tortellino" to where Bernd Eichinger was once sending his chauffeur, as the Tagliatelle had gone out at Romagna, a considerable number of slow food products and unique and award winning wines from Italy. Equal paralell running is our winetrade. Meanwhile we do import more than a 50 percent from all of our wines directly from the wineries in Italy and we offer them at fair prices and make a choice on which you can trust not only regarding price/ performance. Legendary wineries such as Giuseppe Quintarelli and also newcomers to the prestige sector are finding their direct way to the wine sonsumer and wine connoisseur.
Average. Don't have to go there anymore. Expensive. Service beginner, you pretend .. Food OK - but nothing more. Wine too expensive. The times are over..
Just Rossini
No cozy interior, high prices despite no special dishes. Little choice of dishes.
The food was excellent. Starter, main course, dessert ... all fresh and homemade. The ambience like Italy. The service from the gray-haired gentleman ... very original Italian. I'll be back...
I would never eat there. The older, gray-haired gentleman who always likes to stand in front of the shop and watch people is very uncomfortable. What is he imagining? Ha, ha, ha. Who does he think he is?
Small but very nice! The wines are not cheap, but very well selected. All dishes are brought to perfection without frills. The Rossini continues to live up to its legendary reputation. Grace!
Never been served so arrogantly, what does this couple imagine, who they are, never, never again.
We were with 4 people for dinner in the Rossini restaurant and were looking forward to a nice evening. Right at the beginning I was greeted with the words of the owner "It's not raining here" because I had a hat on when I came in. No further greeting, just this sentence. Great start to a cozy evening in a hoped-for relaxed atmosphere with otherwise hospitable Italians. Generally, as guests, we got the feeling that we were only tolerated here and felt quite out of place. The boss / head waiter is absolutely arrogant and makes you realize you are not welcome. The food was served to each table by the cook, but not to us. We were probably not good enough and our money (220 €) for 4 people was probably less worth the service than that of the other visitors. The audience was pretty old that night. That doesn't stand in the way of a nice evening but we were placed like exotics on a presentation plate directly in the middle, 1 meter in front of the main entrance so that it would be possible for us to leave immediately after eating. That was probably also desirable. We were then served by a waitress who was nice and reserved, warmth and welcome did not come up during the visit. The food was great, cooked perfectly and the cook did a great job here. The prices that are called here are moderate, would also be okay in combination with good service, but the overall picture did not fit and therefore the price-performance ratio was absolutely wrong. It was an experience that we will not have again, at least not in this restaurant. The evening remains in our memory and we take it with humor. We will talk about it for a long time and remember this unfriendly gentleman
Fabrizio & Sabine are hosts - they are not a waitress / staff. Both offer us excellent cuisine, beautiful ambience - if you need & want to serve waiters, you're simply in the wrong place. Rossini is valued as it is - or not. Always very happy there - with great enjoyment and joy & lots of great memories and thoughts.
Definitely, one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Very good food for a very fair price. The staff might seem not the most friendly, but you will see that they definitely are, when you visit more often. Can only recommend
The best liver with sage butter ever
A star for the bad service. The service was the worst service in 50 years, even though we were 3 and stayed friendly until the end. Overwhelming, rude, never again would I go there!
A very nice atmosphere in this restaurant and the ravioli were just delicious. I also liked the nice service and the food was quite fast on our table. Gladly again.
Delicious, especially the octopus and the grilled fish
The food is mediocre, the wine is overpriced, and the staff are pretentious. Nice ambience though !
Food was delicious, staff could be fresher ....
Great Italian food, atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff are always ready to fulfill the extra wishes of the customers.
A great restaurant with very high quality food. Great and professional condition, good price performance ratio. Definitely worth a visit. We will gladly come back again.
We were the first time in Munich and Rossini was the first meal, which we had there. A better first impression you can not get from the city, was really delicious and the location is perfect.
Just awesome! It was also nice to see that the chef also came to us once to serve his dishes personally.
Super delicious and extremely nice staff, we love to come here with the whole family. All 5 stars and thus a clear recommendation from me! Bye for now
How do you best describe the Rossini? Family tradition. Homemade pasta. A lot of passion for gastronomy and guests. Very pleasant ambience. Excellent cuisine and WINES! Price and location also great!
Pretentious snobs.
Wanted to eat something at 2 p.m. and then they said the kitchen was already closed. Should be open until 3 p.m.
Amazing food, highly skilled chef and astonishing wines.
